James Richardson – DJ/Emcee/Coordinator

Music and entertainment have been a part of James’ life literally from the day he was born. A 3rd generation DJ, James grew up watching his uncles moving the crowds at local venues in and around his hometown of Paterson, NJ. One of these venues was a family run nightclub owned and operated by his grandfather, a DJ himself. While in high school James was part of the theater arts club and performed in several school productions. Entertainment took on a new meaning to James during this time. One day while watching his uncle prepare for a set; James was handed the headphones and asked to step behind the turntables for the first time.
James moved to Charlotte in 2010 and his love for music and entertainment came right along with him. James joined the ATG Staff looking to bring his energy and charisma to the team.
In his spare time James enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with his son.
