Bar & Bat Mitzvahs and Corporate Events at Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark
The Renaissance sits in the middle of SouthPark, which makes it an easy choice for families with out-of-town guests and for companies hosting a dinner near the office. ATG has produced a glam-themed Bat Mitzvah here with an LED dance stage, as well as a Mitzvah luncheon.

Load-in and setup notes
For planners and venue coordinators.
- We plan the setup window with the hotel early; the ballroom isn't always free the day before, so we're built to set up the same day.
- With 10-foot ceilings, we put moving heads on low totems aimed wide and size video to 3x8 LED columns or a lower wall.
Questions about Renaissance SouthPark
Can you fit an LED dance stage in the Cotillion Ballroom?
Yes. We built a 16' x 4' LED dance stage there with uplighting and intelligent lighting, with plenty of room left for dinner and dancing.
Is the ceiling high enough for moving lights?
The Cotillion Ballroom has 10-foot ceilings, so we place moving heads on low totems and aim them wide across the floor.
Do you do daytime Mitzvah luncheons?
Yes. A DJ and MC with games, LED ping pong and glow limbo keeps a daytime party moving.
Can we book only lighting or a photo booth here?
Yes. Enhancements can be booked on their own if you already have a DJ.
