Live Streaming for Corporate Events
When half your team is in the room and half is online, both audiences need to see and hear everything. With ATG running the in-room audio and video and the live broadcast together, your remote viewers are part of the event, not watching a phone propped on a table.
Real ATG events: a company summit, live
For one company's quarterly summit, we set up two video walls and audio for 50 team members in the room in Huntersville while streaming the program live to more than 500 employees online. Tap the video to play.
What we handle
- Cameras and a video switcher, provided by ATG
- Audio mixed for the room and for the stream
- Presentation slides and video playback into the stream
- Video walls and screens in the room
Internet for your live stream
A strong, stable internet connection is required for live streaming. Your stream can only be as smooth as the connection behind it, so we plan the internet with you and your venue well before your event.
- 100 Mbps upload speed. Upload is the number that matters for streaming, and 100 Mbps gives us full confidence in a stable stream.
- A hardwired ethernet connection. Our streaming laptop plugs straight into the venue’s router or switch for the most reliable signal, rather than Wi-Fi.
- A dedicated line when possible. A wired drop or network just for the stream keeps the full bandwidth for your viewers, even with a room full of guests on their phones.
- A speed test at your venue. We test the upload speed at the venue ahead of time and share what we find, so everyone knows the plan before your event.
- Setup and a full test run. We set up early and test the stream end to end before your audience joins.
- Access to your channel. We stream to your YouTube channel with manager access, or with a stream key and RTMP settings you share with us.
A wired venue connection is always the main plan. Share your venue when you request info and we’ll confirm the internet details with them directly.
Good fits for streaming
Town halls and quarterly meetings, conferences with remote attendees, nonprofit galas that want online donors to watch the program, and award shows for teams spread across several offices.
Frequently asked questions
How much do event live streaming services cost?
It depends on how many cameras you need, how long the program runs and what is happening in the room. Every event is planned around you. Request info and tell us about your audience in the room and online.
What platform do you stream to?
We usually stream to YouTube because it is the most reliable, and we can stream to other platforms on request.
Do we need special internet at the venue?
Yes, a strong, stable internet connection is required. We ask for a hardwired ethernet line from the venue with 100 Mbps upload speed, and we run a speed test at the venue ahead of your event.
